Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup of butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup of sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • Topping and filling
  • 6 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 4 tablespoons chopped nuts

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Cream butter until soft, then add sugar and cream the wet mixture well until light and fluffy. Add eggs and beat well. Combine dry ingredients. Add dry ingredients to the creamed mixture, alternating with the sour cream, beginning and ending with the dry mixture. Stir in vanilla. Pour half of the batter into a well greased pan ( I use a bundt pan). Cover with the nut filling and topping. Pour the remaining batter over the filling and top with the remainder of the nut mixture.
Bake at 325 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.
