Ingredients
- a 6-inch wheel brie cheese
- 1 frozen pastry sheet, thawed
- 1 egg yolk, beaten
- crackers and fruit
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 450 degrees
Roll out the pastry sheet. With the empty brie container cut out one circle, same size. Cut another circle, larger than the brie. Place brie on this circle and fold up the sides. Place first circle on top. Cut strips of pastry 1/2 inch wide and wrap around top edges. Crimp to join the top crust and folded-up sides. Brush will egg yolk.
Bake for 10 minutes, lower the heat to 350 degrees and continue to bake until crust is lightly browned, about 20 minutes.
Serve with crackers and fruit
