Asian Grilled Chicken (or Fish)

Ingredients

  • 4 minced garlic cloves
  • 2 Tbs fish sauce
  • 2 Tbs molasses
  • 2 Tbs lemon (or lime) juice
  • 2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 Tbs sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup orange juice (optional)
  • 2-4 chicken breasts or pieces of fish
  • Glaze
  • 2 Tbs lemon or lime juice
  • 1 Tbs fish sauce
  • 2 tsp brown sugar or honey
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper

Details

Preparation

Step 1

Combine marinade and put on chicken or fish 3-6 hours
Grill until done

Whisk together glaze and brush on after it's done

Note: If any marinade is leftover, it is safe to use as a glaze if heated on stovetop 1-2 mins. Otherwise, use glaze for sauce
