Taco Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/4 c grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3/4 c barbecue sauce
  • 1/2 c chopped onion
  • 3 c shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 c (2 oz) Parmesan cheese, grated
  • Red beans
  • 3/4 c sour cream
  • 1 (4 oz) can green chili peppers, drained
  • 2 c chopped tomatoes

Preparation

Step 1

Brown meat; drain. Add onion and cook until tender. Stir in barbeque sauce and 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese. Cover and simmer 10 minutes. Combine lettuce and tomatoes. Combine sour cream, peppers and 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese and beans. Mix well. Cover bottom of oblong dish with tortilla chips. Top with lettuce mixture, the meat mixture and last with sour cream mixture.
