Ingredients
- 2 tbs oil
- 1/4 medium onion
- 2 cups rice
- 3 cloves finely chopped garlic
- 2 1/2 cups chicken broth
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
Preparation
Step 1
Medium saucepan, heat oil on medium heat, add onion. Saute for 1-2 min till soft. Add rice for about 5 min or until brown. Add garlic to rice for 1 more min, while stirring. Add broth, diced tomatoes & tomato sauce slowly into pan. Stir bringing to boil, turn down and simmer for about 25 minutes or until rice is tender.
