Fried Calamari

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. squid
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • Vegetable oil
  • 1 egg
  • Bread crumbs

Preparation

Step 1

Clean squid and cut into rings.

Pat dry squid with paper towl.

Beat egg with milk in small bowl.

Add squid, stir to coat well.

Removing squid from egg mixture, a few at a time, coat with bread crumbs.

Let stand in single layer for 10 to 15 minutes before frying.

Heat vegetable oil.

Fry until golden.
