Pepper Steak

Ingredients

  • 3 c. cooked rice
  • 1 lb beef or round steak cut into strips
  • paprika
  • water
  • soy sauce
  • butter - 1 stick
  • onion - chopped
  • garlic salt
  • 2 green peppers - cut into strips
  • flour
  • 2 beef bouillon cubes

Preparation

Step 1

Cut steak into strips. Browin in 1 stick of melted butter. Sprinkle with paprika.

Add 2 beef bouillon cubes into meat and 2-3 c. of water. Add onion and soy sauce - till dark and simmer for about 2 hours till it gets very tender.

Blend flour or cornstarch together to thicken sauce. Add more soy sauce to taste.

Add green peppers about 20 minutes before you are ready to eat and cook till tender. Serve over rice.
