Italian Chocolate Cookies

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup shortening
  • 1 3/4 cup confectioners sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 cups walnuts
  • 3/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 Tbs baking powder
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • chocolate frosting

Preparation

Step 1

Cream sugar with shortening. Add eggs, milk and sifted dry ingredients. If tacky, add a bit more flour---dough must not be sticky. Shape into little balls. Bake 10 to 12 minutes at 350 degrees. When cool, dip into chocolate frosting (or flavor of your choice) and place into paper cups.
