Ingredients
- 1 - 14ounce box raisin bran
- 1 C melted butter
- 3 C sugar
- 4 eggs well-beaten
- 1 quart buttermilk
- 5 C flour
- 5 tsp soda
- 2 tsp salt
Preparation
Step 1
1. Mix bran, sugar, flour, soda and salt in large bowl.
2. Add eggs, shortening & buttermilk. Mix well.
3. Store in a covered container in the refrigerator and use when desired for muffins.
4. Bake muffins at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes
Batter will keep for 6 weeks. Very moist and delicious.
