Peas - Herbed

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup thinly sliced green onions
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 5 cups fresh or frozen peas, thawed
  • 3 Tbsp. minced fresh parsley
  • 3 Tbsp. minced fresh basil
  • 1 tea. sugar
  • 3/4 tea. salt
  • 1/2 tea. pepper

Preparation

Step 1

In a large skillet, saute the onions in butter until tender. stir in the peas, parsley, basil, sugar, salt and pepper; saute for 3 minutes.

Reduce heat; cover and cook 3-5 minutes longer or until peas are tender. Serve with a slotted spoon.
