Maple butterscotch brownies

Ingredients

• 1 1/2 c packed brown sugar
• 1/2 c melted butter
• 1 1/2 t imitation maple flavoring
• 2 eggs
• 1 1/2 c all purpose flour
• 1 t baking powder
• 1 c chopped walnuts
• powdered sugar

Preparation

Step 1

in a bowl combine brown sugar, butter and maple flavoring
beat in eggs one at a time
combine flour and baking powder and add to egg mixture
stir in walnuts
pour into a greased 8 or 9 inch square pan
bake 30 mins
dust with powdered sugar if desired
