Ingredients
- 3/4 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup mashed banana (2 bananas)
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 3 T butter

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350. Grease and flour 9x13 pan. In large mixing bowl, beat butter, sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, mashed banana, and vanilla, beating until smooth. Sift together next 4 ingredients and add to banana mixture. Mix until blended. Stir in chocolate chips and pour into pan.
In small bowl, combine pecans with remaining brown sugar and butter. Mix until crumbly and sprinkle over batter in pan. Bake at 350 for 25-35 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely and cut into bars. Wrap each bar individually in freezer wrap and place in large rigid container. Label, seal, and freeze.
To thaw and serve: Loosen wrapping from bars and let stand at room temperature 1-2 hours until thawed.
