Prickly-Pear BBQ Sauce

Ingredients

  • 5 cups tomato sauce
  • 5 cups ketchup
  • 4 1/2 cups prickly-pear syrup
  • 1/2 cup raspberry vinegar
  • 1/2 cup lime juice
  • 1/2 Tbsp. crushed coriander seed
  • 1/4 tea. black pepper
  • 1/2 tea. granulated garlic
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. New Mexico chile powder

Preparation

Step 1

Add all ingredients to a large saucepan. Using a whisk, mix until completely blended. Gently warm on low heat.

Reserve leftover sauce in a tightly sealed jar in the refrigerator.
