Stuffed Cabbage Rolls

Ingredients

  • 3/4 C long grain rice.
  • 3 lb. large head of cabbage
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 lb ground pork
  • 1/2 C chopped green onions
  • 2 crused garlic pods
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp dried marjoram
  • 1/2 tsp sage
  • 1 - 16 oz can stewed tomatoes

Preparation

Step 1

Cook & drain rice.
Cook cabbage in boiling water for 3 minutes.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Combine meat, scallions, garlic, salt, marjoram, sage & blend well.
Mix in 3 C cooked rice.

Use 8 cabbage leaves & spread mixture on leaves & roll, tucking in edges.
Place in a 12x8x2 casserole.
Heat stewed tomatoes and our over cabbage rolls.

Bakefor 50 - 60 minutes
