Berry Cream Cheese Pie

Ingredients

  • Sauce:
  • 1/2 c. powdered sugar
  • 8 oz chream cheese
  • 1 1/2 - 2 c. Cool Whip
  • 9 " graham cracker crust
  • 1 c. berries (blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, etc.)
  • 2/3 c. water
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3 T. cornstarch

Preparation

Step 1

Blend powdered sugar and cream cheese until smooth.
Add cool whip, blend until smooth.
Spread mixture into the pie shell
Cover with berry sauce.

Berry sauce:
Simmer berries and 1/3 c. water in pan for 3 minutes.
Mix sugar and corn starch in a separate bowl, add 1/3 c. water.
Combine with warm mixture, boil for 1 minute until thick, stirring constantly. Remove from heat.
Cool for 5 minutes.
Pour over the top of the pie.
Refrigerate.
