Ingredients
- 1 large angel food cake
- 2 qt. strawberries
- 1 large package strawberry jello
- hot water
- 1 large container Cool Whip
Preparation
Step 1
Line an angel food cake pan with plastic wrap, up the sides and middle, as well as the bottom. Tear the cake into bits and layer them with the strawberries (quartered) in the cake pan. Make the Jello with only the hot water. When it has cooled off a little, add 1/2 the Cool Whip. Stir until dissolved. Pour over cake and berries. Refrigerate overnight. Ice the cake with the other half of the Cool Whip the next day. Slice to serve.
