Salisbury Steak

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. ground beef
  • 1 package Onion Soup mix
  • 1/2 cup cracker crumbs
  • 1 eggs
  • 2 packets of brown gravy mix
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 can mushroom stems (optional)
  • Egg noodles, rice or mashed potatoes

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Makeatties, using beef, cracker crumbs, egg and soup mix. Fry until browned on both sides.

While patties are cooking; in a bowl mix together the dry gravy mix, water, as needed according to package directions, and sour cream. Mix to combine. Spray 9 x 13 pan and lay patties in pan.

Cover patties with sour cream and gravy mixture. Bake, covered, for 30 to 40 minutes, turning half way through.
