Ingredients
- TOPPING:
- 2 eggs
- 1 c sugar
- 2/3 c oil
- 2 c sourdough starter (Herman)
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 c flour
- 1/2 tsp soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 c raisins
- 1 c nuts, optional
- 1 c brown sugar
- 1 T flour
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 c margarine
Preparation
Step 1
Beat eggs; add sugar and beat until fluffy. Add oil and 2 cups of Herman; stir with spatula or wooden spoon. Add reamining dry ingredients. Add nuts and raisins, if desired. Pour into greased 9x13" pan and sprinkle with Topping.
TOPPING: Mix brown sugar, flour and cinnamon; cut in margarine and sprinkle over the top. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes. When Herman is done, glaze with powdered sugar icing while hot.
