  • unsalted butter, room temperature

Preparation

Step 1

1. Combine 1 stick butter, with your favorite flavor suggestion below.
2. Place on was paper or plastic wrap and roll to form a log.
3. Twist ends to seal and chill for one hour or freeze for later use.

Fresh Herb-fresh chopped herbs like chives, thyme, parsley, rosemary with some Parmesan cheese, a little minced garlic and coarse salt & pepper.

Chipotle Sundried Tomato-sundried tomato pesto, chopped chipotle peppers, minced cilantro, lime juice, Cotija or Parmesan cheese and coarse salt.

Basil Pesto-basil pesto, a little Parmesan cheese and some coarse salt and pepper,

Red Wine & Shallot-sauté a little red wine with chopped shallots. Let cool then add fresh herbs like parsley, thyme, chives and a hint of coarse salt & pepper
