Simple Baked Chicken Breasts

  • 4 skinless boneless chicken breasts
  • Lemon pepper seasoning
  • Additional spices of choice, if desired
  • Olive oil

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375°F for 15 minutes before cooking.

Flatten breasts slightly on thickest part to make for evener cooking.

Brush chicken breasts with olive oil and sprinkle with lemon pepper.

Bake for 15 minutes on each side or until chicken is opaque in color and juices no longer run pink (160°F).

Serve with baked sweet potatoes and green beans.

So simple to make and it comes out very moist and flavorful. I used salt free lemon pepper seasoning but have made with other salt substitutes and it came out equally good. Any salt substitute blend will work well with this recipe.
