Homemade Fruit Ice Cream

MY NOTES: I would like to try this with orange Jello and add some drained, cut up canned pineapple chunks or some drained crushed pineapple.

Ingredients

  • 1 small pkg Jello (flavor of ice cream you want)
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 quart half & half
  • 2 cans evaporated milk
  • 2 10-oz packages frozen fruit or
  • 2 cups fresh fruit, diced

Preparation

Step 1

1. Mix Jello and hot water until jello is dissolved.

2. Add sugar, half & half, evaporated milk, and fruit.

3. Mix together and put in ice cream freezer and churn until ice cream.
