Brownies (Grandma Morgan)

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup margarine or butter
  • 2 cups sifted flour
  • 4 squares melted chocolate
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups chopped nuts

Preparation

Step 1

Mix together and bake at 325° for 25 minutes. Cool and frost.

Frosting:
1 cup sugar
4 Tablespoons milk
4 Tablespoons margarine

Bring the above to a boil, then boil for 30 seconds. Remove from stove and add 1/3 cup chocolate chips. Stir until chips are melted. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla. Spread on brownies.
