Sausage and Grits Bake

Ingredients

  • 1 # Neese's Sausage Cooked, Crumbled & Drained
  • 3 C Water
  • 3/4 C Quick Grits
  • 8 oz Sharp Cheddar Cheese Shredded
  • 2/3 C Carnation Milk
  • 1/4 t Garlic Powder
  • 1/8 t Hot Sauce
  • 2 Large Eggs Lightly Beaten
  • Salt & Pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Large Pot, Medium Heat Add Water & Grits, Bring to Boil, Stir. Reduce Heat & Cover, Cook 5-7 Minutes Until Semi Firm. Add 1 1/2 C Cheese, Milk, Garlic & Hot Sauce. Stir Until Cheese is Melted. Season to Taste.

Add Sausage & Eggs.

Pour Into Large Pyrex Dish Sprayed. Bake 350F One Hour.

Top With 1/2 C Cheese, Cook 5-8 Minutes or Until Cheese is Melted & Brown.

Let Cool & Serve Hot for Breakfast.
