Fried Rice

Ingredients

  • 4 cups cooked rice 1/2 teaspoon chopped green onion
  • 1 cup ham cut into 1/4 cubes 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 eggs 4 tablespoons veg.oil
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 cup veg. (cabbage or bean spouts)

Preparation

Step 1

Clean the cabbage and shred. Pickle the cabbage by adding salt for about 10 minutes, then squeeze the cabbage and chop again. ( i use a food processor and pickle all day)

Heat 2 tablespoons oil in wok \, pour in the beaten eggs for making a thin pancake. Remove pancake and dice into small pieces. In the same pan, stir fry veg. for about 30 seconds and remove.Heat 2 tablespoons oil in same wok, stir fry garlic clove and remove.
Put green onion into wok and fry about 5 seconds, then put in ham and rice and mix well. Reduce heat and stir until rice is thoroughly heated. Add 1/2 teaspoon salt, 2 tablespoon soy and black pepper, veg. and eggs. Stir well and serve on platter.
