Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, cubed
- 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup lemon juice
- 8 bone in pork chops, 3/4" thick
- Lemon Slices for garnish
- Salt
Preparation
Step 1
Pat pork chops dry with paper towels. Generously salt each side of chops and place on plate. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
In a microwave safe dish, microwave butter, covered until melted; add brown sugar and lemon juice, stirring to disolve sugar. Reserve 2/3 cup for drizzling.
Preheat grill. Remove chops from refrigerator. Pat dry with paper towels. Brush chops with remaining sauce. Moisten paper towels with vegetable oil; using long handled tongs, lightly coat the grill racks. Grill chops, covered 4 to 5 minutes per side or until a thermometer reads 140. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
Stir reserved sauce to combine and gently rewarm if necessary; drizzle over the pork chops and garnish with lemon slices
