Ingredients

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 cup margarine
  • Blend until crumbs form. Press into a 9 x 13 pan. Bake 10 minutes
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 4 tablespoons flour
  • 1 cup cream or canned milk
  • 6 egg yolks
  • 5 cups finely chopped rhubarb
  • Mix. Put on base and bake 1 hour.
  • Beat egg whites with 8 tablespoons sugar (2 at a time) and 2 tsp vanilla
  • Bake until golden
