Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp Flax Oil
  • 1-2/3 cups Water (warm)
  • 1-1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 Tbsp Chia Seed
  • 2 Tbsp Org. Golden Flaxseed Meal
  • 2 Tbsp Wheat Germ
  • 3 Tbsp Oat Bran Cereal
  • 3 Tbsp Honey
  • 3-1/2 cups Whole Wheat Flour
  • 3 Tbsp Vital Wheat Gluten
  • 2 tsp Active Dry Yeast

Preparation

Step 1

Step 1
Add ingredients in order to your bread machine and bake on whole wheat, medium crust. Or....

Step 2
Soften yeast in warm water.

Step 3
Add flax oil, salt, chia seed, flaxseed meal, wheat germ, oat bran and honey.

Step 4
Mix the whole wheat flour and the gluten flour. Add one cup at a time to the wet mix. Turn out and knead till elastic.

Step 5
Let rise until doubled. Punch down, shape and put in greased loaf pan.

Step 6
Let rise again until nearly doubled.

Step 7
Bake at 350°F for 50-60 minutes, or until the bottom sounds hollow when tapped. Let cool before slicing.

Makes 14 servings.
Notes
This makes a 2 pound loaf, so make sure your bread machine is big enough. Freezes well.
