Ingredients
- 1 jar spaghetti sauce
- 1 lb. ground Italian sausage, browned and drained
- 1 1/2 cup water
- 1-15 oz. ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 8 oz. uncooked ziti or rigatoni pasta
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
In large bowl, combine sauce, browned sausage, and water.
Stir in ricotta, 1 cup mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan cheese, then uncooked ziti.
In 13 x 9 baking dish, spoon ziti mixture, cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake 55 minutes.
Remove foil and sprinkle with remaining 1 cup mozzarella cheese.
Bake uncovered an additional 5 minutes.
Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
