Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup uncooked old-fashioned oats
Preparation
Step 1
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Combine flour, cinnamon, and baking powder. Add to creamed mixture, blending well. Stir in vanilla and oats. Pour into greased 9-inch square pan.
Bake at 350 for 25 minutes. Cut into squares; remove from pan while warm.
Yield: 3 dozen squares.
