C Reese's Peanut Butter Chips
C packed brown sugar
t baking soda
C finely chopped pecans
Chocolate Chip Glaze - Place 1 C chocolate chips and 1 T shortening (do not use butter, margarine or oil) in small microwave safe bowl. Heat on High for 1 minute - stir. 15 second intervals thereafter til smooth.
Put butter and peanut butter chips in saucepan and cook over low heat. Pour into large bowl, add brown sugar, egg and vanilla and beat until well blended. Stir in flour, baking soda and pecans and blend. Refrigerate for 15 to 20 minutes. Heat oven to 350. Roll a small portion of dough at a time on lightly floured surface or between wax paper to form 1/4 in. thickness. With cookie cutter, cut dough into shapes and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Keep remaing dough in fridge. Bake 7 to 8 minutes or until almost set. Do not over bake. Cool completely and then drizzle glaze onto each cookie and allow to set.
