my beef barley soup
I am giving a rough guesstimate of my recipe it is devine
- pepper and salt
- stew meat-however much meat you like I use about 4 lb.
- celery-three stalks chopped fine
- garlic-6 cloves
- beef broth-6 large cans
- worchestershire sauce-1/2 cup
- au jus pkg.-2
- garlic powder-1 tsp
- onion powder-1/2 tsp
- barley-however much you like i use a whole box not the instant kind
combine flour, salt, and pepper in bag and add meat and shake put in fridge for 2 hrs.-remove and brown very well and remove.
put some butter in pan and saute onion, garlic, and celery-put in kettle and add worchestershire sauce, au jus pkgs. garlic and onion powder and some pepper and add meat and cook for 4 to 5 hours-at about last 2 hours add carrots and make barley 1 hour before done and add it. freezes well
