Ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 2 tsp. chili powder
- 2 tsp. cumin
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 small can refried beans
- 10 to 12 oz bag corn tortilla chips
- 1 1/4 lbs Monterey Jack, grated
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 6 oz can black olives, chopped
Preparation
Step 1
Brown the ground beef in a medium-sized pan; then drain beef. Add chili powder, cumin and salt. Set aside. Spread a thin layer of refried beans over the bottom of a glass pan. Then spread a layer of tortilla chips over the beans. Top with a layer of cheese, ground beef mixture, onion, tomatoes and olives. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes.
