Butter Horns

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup warm water
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 2 oz yeast
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 Tbsp sugar
  • 4 cups flour
  • 1 lemon rind

Preparation

Step 1

Cut butter in dry ingredients.

Oven at 400 - 10 min

Frost, if desired, while warm.

[Let dough rise until double. Roll dough into thin layer. Cut into squares. Roll suares into 'horns.' Rest dough before placing into oven.]
