REVIEWS:
Make sure you use whole milk with any Bisquick recipe like this or it doesn't set up and bake right! Using 2% only left me with a soupy mess.
I first started making the Bisquick Quiche from the recipe on the Bisquick box. I have always used 2% milk; I add 2 Tablespoons of extra Bisquick and love it with diced green chiles, crumbled cooked bacon and breakfast sausage with sharp cheddar cheese. My family and friends are always delighted when I make and serve this!
I add about a quarter cup extra Bisquick to solve that problem. It had only happened to me once before.
Someone said this was bland. not true, delicious. just add more onion and add cubed ham along with the bacon amd I used extra sharp cheddar. Don't over bake this . Quite good.
Made this for Super Bowl yesterday. It was a hit.
I prepared this recipe using 1.5 cups of skim milk and that worked out great. My husband, however, thought this quiche was too bland (I used ham and broccoli in the filling).
Instead of broccoli, I used frozen spinach and 1 can of drained chopped tomatoes. I added extra teaspoon of salt, and pepper. For cheese, I used mozzarella and voila, it came out perfect. This is actually my favorite recipe. Proportions are also perfect.
I use 1% or 2% milk and never have a problem.
