Ingredients
- 1 (14 oz) can garbanzo beans drained and rinsed
- 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
- 1 t. ground cumin
- 4 scallions (spring onions)thinly sliced
- 3 tbsp sour cream
- Salt and freshly ground pepper
- 2 tbsp all-purpose (plain) flour
- 1/4 c. extra virgin olive oil
- Tzatziki
- Mixed salad grains, to serve
- Lemon wedges, to serve
Preparation
Step 1
Combine the garbanzo beans, fatlic, cujin, scallions, and sour cream in a food processor.
Process until smooth.
Transfer to a large bowl and season with salt and pepper.
Shape the mixture into eight patties.
Dust lightly with flour.
Fry the patties in batches in the oil in a large frying pan until golden, about 3 minutes on each side.
Serve the patties with the tzatzikik, salad and lemon wedges.
