Ginger Snaps

My special recipe. A camping staple.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup margarine
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp cloves
  • 1 tsp ginger

Preparation

Step 1

Cream margarine and sugar, add molasses and egg and beat well. Add siftend dry ingredients; mix well. Roll in small balls, dip into sugar and place 2 inches apart on a greased cookie sheeet. Bake in a 375 degree oven for 10 minutes. Do not overbake.
