- Here is how to roast your own head of garlic:
- Ingredients:
- 1 whole head garlic
- extra virgin olive oil
- salt and pepper
- Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F.
- Slice a little bit off the bottom of the head of garlic, just so that it sits upright. Remove any loose layers of skin off the bulb and cut a 1/4 inch off the top of the head of garlic to reveal the cloves inside.
- Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt and cracked pepper.

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F.
Wrap the garlic loosely in foil or parchment paper and place on a sheet pan. Roast for 30 to 40 minutes, until the garlic is lightly browned and soft. Once cooled, the garlic will easily squeeze out from each clove.
