Peanut butter cookies with kiss on top

Ingredients

• 1-1/2 c flour
• 1 tsp soda
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/2 c butter
• 1/2 c peanut butter
• 1/2 c each white and brown sugar
• 1 egg
• 1 tsp vanilla.

Preparation

Step 1

Combine dry ingredients. Cream butter and sugar, adding egg and vanilla. Combine. Shape dough into 1" - 1-1/2" balls. Roll in sugar and place on ungreased cooking sheet. Bake 375 degrees for 8 min. just until the top barely cracks. Press a hersheys kiss in center and return to oven for 30 seconds. Remove. To keep them soft, place in airtight container when barely cool.
