Pasta Fagioli Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 1/2 rib celery, sliced
  • 1 cup carrots, cut julienne style
  • 1 lb. great northern beans, undrained
  • 2 (14oz.) cans stewed tomatoes
  • 2 (14oz.) cans beef broth
  • 1 lb. jar Prego spaghetti sauce
  • 2 cups spiral pasta
  • 1 (14oz.) can kidney beans
  • Salt and cayenne pepper to tast

Preparation

Step 1

Cook meat, onion, celery and carrots until lightly browned; drain grease. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and turn on low. Cook until pasta is done. About 20 to 30 minutes.
