Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 pinch cumin
- 4 oz green chilies, chopped
- 1 cup canned tomatoes, chopped
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1/2 pound Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- 3 oz cream cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon cilantro, chopped
Preparation
Step 1
Microwave margarine on high for 30 seconds. Add next 5 ingredients, cover with plastic wrap (leaving vent) and microwave on high for 2 minutes. Add tomatoes and cook 2 minutes. Add cheese and cook 1 minute. Stir and cook 1 minute. Stir in cilantro. Serve with tortilla chips. Makes 2-1/2 cups.
