    lb or 1 1//2 lb hamburger -- salt and pepper to taste

    onion - finely chopped

  • 1

    medium sized head of cabbage

  • 1

    pkg hot roll mix


Lightly brown hamburger and seasonings. Add finely shredded cabbage and onion. Cover and cook for 2/3 hour or until cabbage is done. Drain Make hot roll mix according to package directions. Let rise -- punch down. Let rest 1o minutes--covered. Roll out on lightly floured surface to approx. 1/4 in. thick. Cut into 4 inch squares. Let rise about 20 minutes. Bake in 350 deg oven for 20 - 30 min. until brown. Serve hot. Jan's ad lib -- I'd experiment some with how much filling to use. I'd probably try for some more than 2 T -- the edges do need to be firmly pinched together.
