Ingredients

  • 2 lb. bag frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed

  • 1

    tsp. salt

  • ½

    tsp. pepper

  • ¼

    cup onions, chopped

  • 1

    pt. sour cream

  • 1

    can cream of chicken soup

  • ½

    soup can milk

  • 2

    cup shredded cheese (I use mild cheddar)

  • 2

    cup corn flakes, crushed

  • ¼

    c. melted butter

Directions

Mix soup, sour cream, milk, onion, salt & pepper, cheese, add hash brown potatoes. Put in greased 9" x 13" pan or baking dish. Cover with corn flakes and drizzle the 1/4 c. butter over the top. Bake uncovered 350 for 1 hour. (Can be made ahead of time and refrigerated, omitting the corn flakes until ready to bake).
