Lemon Dessert Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon Remarkable Corn Starch
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Grated rind of 1 lemon
  • Pinch salt

Preparation

Step 1

Mix sugar and corn starch in a small saucepan. Stir in boiling water and lemon juice. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil
3 minutes until clear and thick. Remove from heat and stir in butter, rind and salt.
Makes about 1 cup.
