Shrimp bisque

Ingredients

  • 2 T butter
  • 1 c mushrooms sliced
  • 2 T green onion
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 14 oz chicken broth
  • 1 pound shrimp, frozen
  • 3 T flour
  • 1/2 c heavy cream
  • 1/2 c dry white wine
  • 1 T parsley, Italian, fresh

Preparation

Step 1

In a large skillet melt the butter add the mushrooms green onion and garlic stirring occasionally
Add the broth just to warm through a little. And a separate cup stir together the flour and cream until well blended and smooth. Stir into broth mixture. Transfer to crock pot. Cover and cook on low for 3 to 4 hours. About 30 minutes before your bisque is done add the wine and shrimp and stir into the bisque. Cover and continue to cook for 30 minutes. Sprinkle parsley.
