Ingredients
- 4 turnips thinly sliced
- 3 tbs butter
- minced garlic
- 1 tbs butter
- 1/8 c chicken broth and cream
- 2/3 c grated gruyere cheese

Preparation
Step 1
I large oven proof skillet melt butter add single layer of turnips overlapping slightly. Sprinkle with some garlic and dot with 1 tbs butter. Add a splash of broth and cream. then sprinle with 2/3 c cheese. Repeat layers twice more.
season with salt and pepper.
Bake @ 375 until golden and bubbly-about 20 min.
