Wild Mushrooms Crostini

Ingredients

  • 2 Vidalia onions
  • 1 tbsp. butter
  • 2 slices of bacon
  • crimini mushrooms
  • baguette
  • olive oil

Preparation

Step 1

Heat skillet and fry bacon till crisp. When done, place on paper towel to soak up oil. Slice onions thinly. Saute in same skillet. Cook till golden, 4-5 minutes. Remove from pan.

Drain excess oil from skillet. Chop up mushrooms and saute in skillet with butter. Slice baguette diagonally in 1" thickness. Baste with olive oil. Toast in oven till lightly golden.

Add onions, mushrooms, and bacon to baguette slices. Serve.
