Ingredients
- 1 pkg. cheddar cheese or herbed croutons (2-3 cups)
- 4 eggs
- 2 1/2 cups milk
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 lb. bulk spicy sausage, browned and drained
- 1 lb. mushrooms, sliced and sauteed
Preparation
Step 1
Place croutons in a greased 7x11 glass baking dish.
Mix eggs, milk and soup together and pour over croutons.
sprinkle with cheese and sausage and top with mushrooms.
Prepare the souffle up to this point the night before. Cover and refrigerate.
Take out 1 hour before baking. Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes.
