Breakfast Crumb Cake

I love the flavor of this coffee cake - just a hint of orange. Very good for breakfast!

Ingredients
- Batter:
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 cup orange juice
- 2 cups flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1 Tbsp fresh orange zest
- ..................................
- Topping:
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tbsp melted butter or margarine
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts, optional
- ..................................
- Glaze:
- 1 cup confectioners sugar
- 1 tsp fresh orange zest
- Orange juice, as need to make glaze proper consistancy
Preparation
Step 1
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy, add egg and beat well. Mix the dry ingredients and add alternately with orange juice. Put batter into a greased 9 x 9" pan. Combine topping ingredients and sprinkle over batter. Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes. Let cool, then drizzle with glaze.
