Salty Dog

You may not even notice that this is a mixed drink because the tangy taste of the grapefruit really comes through. So go slow when you’re drinking it!

Ingredients

• 1 lime wedge
• Kosher salt
• lce cubes
• 2 ounces gin or vodka
• 1/2 cup white grapefruit juice

Preparation

Step 1

Rub lime wedge around the rim of a highball glass; dip rim in salt. Set aside. Fill a mixing glass or tumbler three-fourths full with ice. Add gin and grape fruit juice; stir until condensation forms on outside of glass. Pour into prepared glass, straining ice if desired.
