Ingredients

  • 6 T SOFTENED BUTTER
  • 2 T MINCED FRESH PARSLEY
  • 2 GREEN ONIONS, FINELY CHOPPED
  • 2 t MINCED FRESH BASIL OR 3/4 t DRIED BASIL
  • 1 CLOVE GARLIC, MINCED
  • 1/4 t PEPPER
  • 1 LOAF FRENCH BREAD12

Step 1

Directions
In a bowl, combine the first six ingredients. Cut bread in half
lengthwise; spread herb spread on cut sides.

Place on an ungreased baking sheet. Broil 4 in. from the heat for 2-3
minutes or until lightly browned. Yield: 10-12 servings (1/2 cup
spread).
